"A city councillor has two main responsibilities: representing residents and making good decisions for the city. That means listening to the people of Ward 1 & 5, bringing their concerns to City Hall, voting on policies and the city budget, ensuring tax dollars are spent wisely, supporting safe neighbourhoods, improving local services, and planning responsibly for growth. Most importantly, I believe a councillor should be accessible, transparent, and accountable, so residents know they have someone who listens and works for them every day."
